The pitfalls of overcoaching

I aim to avoid overcoaching.

I believe it is more effective to break down a movement that the client finds too complex into more digestible parts, rather than spam the client with a dozen different instructions that they wouldn’t be able to internalize anyhow.

It’s important for the client to be able to not only know, but feel, what is correct and what is not. If the client does not clearly see the connection between how they move and how their body reacts, then nothing has truly changed.
